Akta Announces General Availability of Its AI-First SaaS Video Platform on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure at StreamTV Show 2026
Media companies can now ingest, route, transform, manage and monetize cloud video workflows through Akta’s unified SaaS platform running on Oracle Cloud
DENVER, Colorado — June 16, 2026 — Akta, the AI-First SaaS video platform for modern broadcast and streaming operations, today announced that its video platform is now generally available on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Akta will showcase the new OCI deployment at StreamTV Show 2026, taking place June 16–19 at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.
The availability of Akta on OCI gives media organizations a new way to modernize video infrastructure without stitching together separate tools, cloud environments or workflow systems. Broadcasters can now ingest and route channels through Akta Media Gateway, ingest and distribute live streams and manage their live video workflows from ingest and routing to live channel management on OCI.
As large media companies build their live playout in the cloud, there is a growing need to distribute live channels directly from the cloud using low latency transport such as SRT. Broadcasters are under pressure to deliver more channels, more formats and more personalized viewing experiences without adding operational complexity.
“Akta’s cloud native tools allow media companies to build and deploy live channel production without any dependence on on-premise infrastructure. However, traditional cloud providers price direct egress at such high prices that it has not been economical to move the entire live distribution to the cloud” said Alper Turgut, Chairman at Akta. “Unlike other cloud platforms, Oracle Cloud is built and priced for efficient networking. Not only is egress performant and seamless, but also priced right to make native production, assembly and distribution of live channels directly from the cloud.”
“Media companies are looking for cloud infrastructure that delivers both performance and predictable economics,” said Kip Schauer, Sr. Product Manager, Media Partnerships at Oracle. “OCI provides predictable, globally consistent pricing, with up to 50–80% savings across compute, storage, and networking compared to other leading cloud providers.” (Oracle Cloud Economics 2025)
Akta on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure provides media companies a powerful new deployment option for running AI-First video workflows in the cloud — from contribution, channel assembly, and live playout to routing and distribution.
Akta’s AI-First platform is designed to unify the major components of video operations into a single SaaS environment. Rather than requiring broadcasters to rely on disconnected systems for ingest, playout, workflow automation, clipping, metadata, captions, scheduling and social video production, Akta enables teams to manage more of the video lifecycle from one intelligent platform.
Akta will be meeting with broadcasters, streaming platforms, content owners and technology partners throughout StreamTV Show 2026. Attendees can learn more about Akta’s OCI availability, Cloud Gateway, vertical video capabilities, and AI-First SaaS video platform by visiting AKTA Booth #412 or scheduling a meeting via sales@akta.tech.
